摘要
The article examines regional differences and human capital indicators for example Region Vysocina and the South Moravian Region. Human capital is the knowledge, skills, abilities and individual qualities that help create a personal, social and economic well-being, which is important for the prosperity of the post-industrial society. People or population, or human resources are one of key element of regional development. One of the purposes of this research was to choose demographic indicators by which to can be thought of as complex demographic indicators that represent the theoretical model of human resources. The level of education of the population represents indicator of socio-economic status and cultural capital. Survey to distribute 750 questionnaires to respondents to answer was used in two regions of the Czech Republic -Region Vysocina and the South Moravian Region. Descriptive statistical analysis was performed in the research. Regional differences in human capital components were expected because of the different regional conditions. The results suggest that most respondents reported sufficient educational level. Certain specific changes in these regions may show negative trends particularly in the area of social development of analysed regions. Negative economic development influences the transformation of spatial distribution of economic activities or social and health conditions in analysed regions. It may affect the formation of political attitudes of the population and it can cause an increase of social problems.
