The Research of an Improved Active Contour Model for Pedestrian Detection and Tracking Algorithm

摘要
This article is as to the limitations and the lack of the traditional active contour model for pedestrian detection and tracking method, proposed the algorithm about contours on initialization to access, the energy of the active window, edge detection and Kalman filter those combined with the active contour model algorithm,improved the energy and the distribution of the traditional active contour model of items and control points. Experimental results showed that the improved algorithm can detect precisly contours of pedestrians, and. the control point distribution, contour smoothness is better.
