摘要：
The main purpose of this article is to review the competition studies literature and to introduce Panzar-Rosse model as a viable alternative to determine the degree of competition on the banking market. We are particularly interested in the study of banking systems that are passing thorugh a consolidation process reflected by decreasing banks count coupled with the concentration of assets.
