摘要
In order to optimize the use of machines in coal mining enterprises, it is necessary to make proper selection of the machines for the operating conditions and keep them in good technical condition. In order to evaluate the efficiency of these actions it is reasonable to apply the strategy of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). The main aim of this strategy, which is agreeable with the managers of mining companies, is to increase the effectiveness of use of equipment and to change employees' perception of this issue. The paper presents the results of the effectiveness analysis of using a set of mining machines included in the longwall system, which is the first and the most important link in the technological line of coal production. The analysis was conducted using the OEE model that constitutes a tool for quantitative evaluation of the TPM strategy. The set of analyzed machines includes the longwall shearer, armored face conveyor and beam stage loader. The analysis was based on data recorded by the industrial automation system that is used in the mines. This method of data gaining ensures high credibility and full-time synchronization. Conclusions from the conducted research and analysis should be used to reduce failures and unplanned downtime, increase performance and improve production quality.
