Shear deformation of silty sand under cyclic simple shear

摘要：
Effects of ageing on the stress-strain behaviour and cyclic residual deformation of unsaturated, relatively dense silty sand are presented, based on recent laboratory simple shear test data. Simple shear tests with different creep times and loading rates were performed and it is shown that the application of cyclic loading on samples with different ageing histories tends to remove the ageing effect.
