摘要
The educational leadership is a fundamental factor to encourage processes of innovation, change and educational improvement in schools. However, usually principals in Spain do not develop an educational leadership. Consider ingthat a school leadership focusedon learning requires training, here we present a research whose objectiveis to know the training of leaders in public schools of nursery and primary education in Andalusia. We have used a mixed methodology that combines quantitative and qualitative research in two sequential phases. The former uses the survey as instrument and, the second, a semi-structured interview. The results obtained in both phases show that training one ducational leadership during the profesional career of principals is not enough to develop a successful leadership focus edon learning improvement. In any case, for the different members, training is a desirable and necessary factor that letleaders develop skills to perform for the school improvement.
