High-Efficiency Wideband Rectifier with Different Rectifying Topology and Working Frequency

摘要
This paper presents wideband rectifiers with different rectifying topologies operating at different frequencies. A wideband matching circuit based on coupled-line is employed to realize wideband performance. Rectifiers with different topologies and frequencies based on this matching circuit are designed. For validation, a wideband rectifier using voltage-doubler topology is implemented operating at 1.62-2.68 GHz at the input power of 18 dBm. It exhibits the fractional bandwidth of 49.3% when RF-to-DC conversion efficiency exceeds 75% Moreover, a wideband rectifier with dual voltage-doubler topology is implemented with enhanced output voltage and conversion efficiency. The efficiency of the rectifier exceeds 70% from 0.68 to 1.28 GHz at 18 dBm input power.
