Cultivation of applied talents in higher education demands reform in traditional education mode. With the view of curriculum reformation and highlighting professional uniqueness in engineering management discipline, the paper establishes a project-based curriculum group in engineering management bachelor program which focus on professional skills and capability required in the process of construction project. The author introduces the principles, plan, practice and effect of the reformation that indicates the integration of theory and practices strengthens the integrity of the knowledge system and contribute to a building of strategic thinking in a certain project so as to improve skills and abilities in solving concrete problems.
