摘要
Increasing residential and business demand for faster Internet connections has resulted in huge incremental revenue opportunities for Broadband Access providers. Ethernet is a good technology to provide broadband access service to user. The key problem for Ethernet LAN access is how to support authentication, authorization and accounting features. In this article we design a device, the Ethernet Access Concentrator, which can be deployed without changing current network configuration and easily interoperated with current AAA system. At same time, Internet users can easily use the EAC to access Internet without changing any devices or install any software on their PC. We integrate the DHCP, Web server, Radius Client and Packet Filtering in this kind of devices and construct a emulator to verify our ideal.
