摘要
A fast charger with a non-traditional conception of the power circuit was developed. It is based on single acting buck converters with pulse transformers. The minimum possible size, weight and lowest prices of the charger were required while keeping the simplicity and reliability of the equipment. For these reasons the choice of concept and the design of a high power converter are very complex. Converter topology is limited by the available magnetic circuits, materials and semiconductor devices.
