Bruker, Isis in biosensor deal

Bruker Daltonics and Isis Pharmaceuticals have collaborated to develop the T5000 biosensor. The biosensor uses genomics, modeling, mass spectrometry, and molecular amplification to generate fingerprints of microorganisms, enabling thousands to be simultaneously identified in one sample. As of August 2006, the biosensor has been approved for research use only.
