摘要：

The rapidly advancing fibre-optics telecommunications industry has given rise to one of the world's foremost technology markets. The expense of creating electronic hardware to deal with these data, and the fact that this hardware will soon be too slow to deal with transmission rates, have prompted RPO (see Fig.) to create optical chips from spin-on polymers.
