Water Wave Interaction with Multiple Surface-Piercing Porous Cylinders by Singular Boundary Method

摘要
This paper presents numerical analysis of water wave interaction with an array of bottom-mounted surface-piercing porous cylinders by using singular boundary method (SBM). The singular boundary method is a recent meshless boundary collocation method, which introduces the concept of source intensity factors to eliminate the singularity of the fundamental solutions. Numerical investigation shows that the porosity of the cylinder sidewall has a great effect on the free-surface elevations in the vicinity of ten-cylinder array. We can see that the increase of the porosity leads to the decrease of the maximum free-surface amplitude.
