摘要
The business world is like the world as a whole - it never stands still. It is changing every second, affected by shifts in all aspects of human life. If companies want to survive the changes they need to look for changes as one of Peter Drucker's quote saying "The entrepreneur always searches for change, responds to it, and exploits it as an opportunity". The most dramatic changes to the business landscape are caused by available technologies. This includes changes in the technology used in the products and services offered by a business, as well as changes in the technology used to produce and distribute these products. When a company depends on its legacy systems, its sustainability requires their successful and effective migration into its new IT environment. The article presents a method of knowledge-intensive IT migration which enhances a smoother change and helps to overcome the barriers and pitfalls of traditional IT migrations by applying elements of Knowledge Management i.e. including also knowledge, habits and experience of end-users.
