An Exploration and Practice of Curriculum Reforms on Advanced Mathematics in Higher Vocational Colleges

Advanced mathematics plays an important role in professionals' cultivation. However, the teaching of this course can not adapt to the need of educational reforms in higher vocational colleges for a long time due to the existing problems. So the teaching quality has yet to be improved. With an aim to stimulate students' interest in learning, cultivate their ability to analyze and solve problems with mathematical knowledge, this paper puts forward the necessity of curriculum reforms on advanced mathematics. In addition, it conducts analysis and research on the reform from such three aspects as curriculum contents, teaching methods and assessment methods. Finally, it proposes some reform measures.
