摘要：
The overall objective of this study was examining soil microbial activity on the windthrow and fire-affected plots. Soil samples were taken from the surface organic layer and mineral A-horizon during the autumn 2008. Among microbial characteristics, basal and potential respiration, catalase activity and N-mineralization were assessed. We found statistically significant differences in most of the studied microbial characteristics. Generally, the highest microbial activity was found at the reference plot.
