摘要
The service sector has a high contribution to economy development, being the most important sector in terms of its contribution to the Gross Added Value and to the occupied population. In the service sector an important role is played by business services that are provided to the companies irrespective their field of activity. The results of some researches based on statistical data, case studies and a survey among Romanian companies show a low development of service sector in our country. Also the companies are not very determined in service outsourcing. The service companies should focus on proper strategies in order to increase the efficacy and efficiency of service activities. In this respect, service companies have to develop proper marketing policies and also to implement modem managerial techniques that can contribute to reducing waste in the service providing activity.
