摘要
The demands of knowledge service, the applications of information technology and the upgrades of outsourcing strategy led to the rise of KPO, which brought enormous commercial interests and market opportunities for China's service outsourcing industry, but also brought opportunities and challenges for Sci-tech Information Institutes searching for supplying service innovation and developing their own. This paper will analyze the KPO Service supplied by Sci-Tech Information Institutes based on SWOT model, sum up the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats they faced, and make the SO, WO, ST, WT strategy research. Through the SWOT analysis above, we can draw a conclusion that Sci-Tech Information Institutes should define the central task as to provide the knowledge service including Industry Intelligence analysis, Media Monitoring analysis, Patent Information analysis, Competitive Technical Intelligence analysis, etc. Therefore Sci-Tech Information Institutes can be the fresh troops for supplying KPO service.
