摘要：
The increase of R&D investment doesn't always lead to the addition of firm value. Based on the empirical studies of some people. the paper analyzes the opportunity of firm's growth with the around of Tobin's q and compares the essential characteristics of R&D investment and option investment. Furthermore, it introduces the possible kinds of option value that R&D investment brings about and then, discusses the empirical conclusions.
