摘要
The submicron, tetragonal and pure barium titanate (BT) powders were produced in a polybasic acid chelating Sol-Gel process by using citric acid as a chalet with titanium, Experiments show that the ceramics from the Sol-Gel derived powders show a single-crystal-like ferroelectric behavior with a sharp tetragonal-rhombohedral (T-R) phase transition. A hydrothermal technique was employed to fabricate BT powders for industrial applications by using as-prepared titanium hydroxide and barium hydroxide as starting materials. Nano-crystal, cubic and tetragonal BT powders form at 100degreesC and temperatures higher than 150degreesC respectively. The ferroelectric properties of the powders and ceramics were dicussed in this paper.
