摘要
Grid computing, in particular the semantic grid have, been proposed as a solution to the interoperability problems of networked organizations. In most cases, this technology is considered as technology push by the computer science into the various fields of engineering and science. In this paper we examine the roadmap of networked organization to find if the roadmap that they are proposing from a functional perspective can be met by the technology proposed by grid research. We present a schematic conceptual model driven architecture that makes a distinction between the conceptual, service and physical layers. It is reviewed and critical research end development issues are defined. The papers is based on based on the results of a major on-going European Union R&D project InteliGrid Interoperability of Virtual Organizations on a Complex Semantic Grid.
