Research on Coverage and Connectivity for Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Network

Coverage and connectivity are the key research questions in wireless sensor networks. Previous research background is homogeneous wireless sensor networks, which can simplify the problem, but along with the depth of the problem, have to consider covering whit heterogeneous node. Firstly, this paper classifies the heterogeneous wireless sensor networks systematically, and put forward heterogeneous node model under sensor heterogeneity and communications heterogeneity. Secondly, this paper analyses the coverage calculation under two kinds of heterogeneous nodes. Thirdly, this paper analyses the simply connectivity and re-connectivity. Finally, achieved a lot of simulation experiments, and obtained the probability curve between the number of nodes and simply connectivity, re-connectivity.
