摘要
Radiation forces on a dielectric sphere produced by non-paraxial optical fields of an electric dipole in the Rayleigh regime of light scattering are analysed theoretically and calculated numerically. The results show that the radiation forces produced by non-paraxial Gaussian beams are quite different from those produced by paraxial Gaussian beams in several respects, and non-paraxial optical fields are more suitable in capturing minute Rayleigh particles.
