摘要
The giant magnetostrictive material (GMM)1 belongs to smart materials, the axial strain of GMM can be changed along with the changes of the external magnetic field. The giant magnetostrictive actuator (GMA) is made on the base of GMM can achieve the real-time adjustment function of the displacement and the output power. In this paper, the GMA was designed and produced, and the functional relationship between the output force and the excitation voltage has been researched when the actuator was under different pre-pressures. By using the least squares method, a linear sub-analysis function model was fitted, which can simulate effectively the performance of the force magnetic coupling of the actuator.
