A Model of Third-party Integration Testing Process Management for Foundation Software Platform

摘要
FSP (Foundation Software Platform) is the shoring of foundation for application system. The integration testing is the important method to ensure the quality of FSP. The integration testing of FSP would involve not only foundation software vendors, such as the vendor of Operating System, the vendors of Database Management System and the vendors of Middleware etc.; but also the users of FSP, such as application system developer and integrator. It is a reliable way to carry out the integration testing by a third-party. Concerning the problems which the third party testing organization face with, including how to deal with the problem that testing information is insufficient, how to organize collaboration among the software vendors, and how to build the integration testing environment etc., In this paper, a Third-party Integration Testing Process Management model for FSP (TITPM) is proposed. In the model, we identify the third party testing metadata, define the testing process toward collaboration of three parties, and give a method of building testing environment based on open source software. The model has been used in the integration testing and maintenance of domestic FSP in China. The successful application of the model in integration testing of FSP by the third party testing center in China proved its validity.
