Web Service Composition: An Agent-based Approach

摘要
This paper presents an agent-based workflow model which combines nondeterministic planning and satisfiability to obtain resilient Web services compositions. In our approach a planning agent seeks for k plans (i.e, k alternative compositions of Web services) that solve a given composition request. Such plans are merged in a binary decision tree (i.e, the resulting resilient composition). Results have shown it is possible to obtain binary trees in relatively low times and with a large and satisfactory amount of plans.
