摘要
This paper addresses an important issue in global management education. Information literacy is a skill needed in academia but also in the workplace. The article reports on a project to embed information literacy skills in an undergraduate marketing course. Since research indicates. students skills in information literacy need improvement the course developed an approach to teaching and assessing information literacy. The approach used demonstrates how librarians enhance and support student learning of information literacy by teaching research skills. The approach also demonstrates how a scaffolding approach is an effective way to develop information literacy skills. In addition, a rubric modeled after the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) standards is effective in assessing the students' information literacy.
