摘要
The objective of this study was to compare some methods for the body composition determination. The methods of skinfold thickness measurement (SF) and bioelectric impedance (BIA) were compared. Altogether subjects were tested n = 40 (age 30 19 years, weight 62.7 +/- 13.8 kg, height 165.6 +/- 14.5 cm, BMI 22.5 +/- 3.0 kg/m(2), WHR 0.79 +/- 0.08). We can assess as nonsignificant difference (less than 1 % and p > 0.05) in comparison of values of % fat the SF by Parizkova and the BIA (Bodystat 500). The primary problem of using of these indirect methods for body composition assessment are the predictive equations.
