摘要
The aim of this study is to contribute to the research topic of Organizational commitment. We consider attachment dimensions in adulthood as relevant predisposing factors of creation commitment to organization. We examine impact of attachment dimensions in relation with impact of group cohesion. Our main goal and expected benefit is to find, if group cohesion may have moderating effect on affective organizational commitment in workers with insecure attachment. The sample consisted of 104 respondents who worked in different kinds of organisational structures. Used methods: Meyer and Allen The Employee Commitment Survey(TCM), Widmeyer, Brawley and Carron The Group Environment Questionnaire (GEQ), and Brenann, Clark, Shaver Experiences in Close Relationship (ECR). The results of correlation analysis indicated negative relationships between insecure attachment dimensions (avoidant, anxious) and two types of group cohesion (task, social) as well. Results of moderating regression analysis confirm a positive moderating effect of task cohesion in interaction with avoidant attachment dimensions on affective organizational commitment. However, on the contrary, there is a negative effect of social cohesion in interaction with the avoidant attachment on affective organizational commitment.
