Researching refugee and forced migration studies: An introduction to the field and the reference literature

The study of refugees and forced migration is a growing field. However, few specialized reference sources are available to help in the research process. This article describes the evolution of refugee and forced migration studies, identifies several factors that render it a challenging field to research, and highlights a variety of Internet-based and other electronic resources that can be used to locate monographs, periodicals, grey literature, and current information. A brief bibliography of reference materials in print is also provided.
