Simulation of an inductive coupled power transfer system

摘要
This paper presents two methods for simulating inductive coupled power transfer. The simulations are done using finite element calculations in Comsol Multiphysics. An analytic approach that uses the filamentary method is considered in order to compare the simulation results. The simulations allows for mutual inductance calculation between the primary and secondary coil and the possibility to observe the change in mutual inductance value due to position or geometry changing of the two coils. By using Comsol the magnetic field distribution and related phenomenon can be visualized.
