Inflammatory bowel disease in children

Pediatric inflammatory bowel disease is a complex area of pediatric gastrointestinal imaging. Multiple causative factors are discussed with emphasis upon disorders without known or presumed infectious etiology. Conditions discussed include Henoch-Schonlein purpura, Kawasaki disease, Behcet's disease, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis with their respective clinical and radiological findings, differential diagnosis features, plus pertinent extraintestinal manifestations of inflammatory bowel disease.
