摘要
Taking a distribution center of some big IT franchiser as the prototype, this paper presents a typical order picking system containing more than two picking units, picking modes, picking zones, and picking equipment. Aided by Visual Basic6. 0 and Microsoft Access combined, a simulation program of order processing is designed, which covers receiving orders, generating picking lists and sorting lists. Simulation running gives satisfactory results. This program can also be applied to help with the layout of order picking system, the improvement of existing picking system, and the development of new order processing software at any distribution center.
