摘要：
A multiport communication unit was designed and realized for a need of real-time measuring. The module MPC860 creates the core of this unit. The modem Siemens MC39i is connected to the unit. The system Linux was compiled and configured as the operation system. Thanks to this resolution, the unit is ready to connect to the GMS network and it is possible to connect via GPRS to the Internet. With a central server, it is a basic for online measuring of energetic data from various measuring equipments.
