摘要：
The life-cycle reliability and maintenance planning of deteriorating structural systems is investigated. The probabilistic analysis is developed within a semi-Markov modeling of the deterioration process. Selective maintenance scenarios are considered by applying the repair interventions only to elements heavily deteriorated and/or characterized by a low safety margin. The life-cycle reliability of statically determinate and indeterminate truss systems is compared by considering the effects of selective maintenance.
