摘要：
This paper proposes a novel approach to utilize creative thinking in graphic design education. Firstly, we analyze characteristics of graphic design education and the effect of creative thinking in graphic design education in detail. Next, we illustrate the methods to cultivate students' creative thinking ability in graphic design in two aspects. In the first aspect, we develop students' innovation sense by cultivating students' keen observation and cultivate students' good artistic inspiration. In the second aspect, we take measures to cultivate students' creative ability by teaching innovation skills to students and encouraging students to use creative elements in graphic design freely.
