Romania's national economy, agriculture is a main branch of production, serving to satisfy consumer population agro-food, raw materials for manufacturing, export availabilities etc. Romanian agriculture is an industry that produce goods - plant and animal - with a long tradition and has favorable natural conditions. The study establishes the agricultural production potential of the macro-regions and Romanian development regions, in terms of agriculture. Making the paper appealed to comparison method using two known variants: a comparison over time and comparison in space. Thereby for the period 2012-2014 it builds a dynamic range which includes the three years of analysis and annual average - for the three component sectors of agricultural production. Later recourse to the determine the structure of the total agricultural production and macro regions. Total production has evolved unevenly - registering an increase over the terms of reference in 2013 and declines in 2014 and for period average. The vegetal production, follows the evolution previously presented as globally. In case of livestock production, timid increases were noted in the case the years 2013 and 2014. As a result, the average period was above par compared to 2012 and below par compared to 2014. Evolution of production provided by agriculture services has been an ascending one, dynamics being dominated by the values of above par indices used. Nationally, total agricultural production structure is dominated by vegetable sector with 65.86%, followed at a considerable distance by livestock production sector with 33.10%, and agriculture services sector with 1.04%. The regional structure of total production highlights the fact that - under zonal report - the largest share is held by the South Region, followed by the North-East and South -East Region.
