摘要：

Aerospace companies today operate in increasingly competitive environments and in response to rapidly changing market demands, they ave experiencing the Need to embrace new technologies and new ways of working. This paper discusses the current state of product introduction in the form of Integrated Product Development (IPD), and the subsequent use of multifunctional team working within IPD. There is also a discussion about some of the major issues surrounding new product development in the distributed enterprise. The paper goes on to describe a new method for approaching some of the recent trends seen in the aerospace industry in recent years. This new scenario is seen as the future Product Introduction Process to support aerospace companies to deal with product development in a more distributed and manner.
