摘要
The space charge distribution across the CZTSe/CdS heterojunction plays an important role in defining the recombination properties of Kesterite solar cells. We have conducted a study designed to manipulate the shape of the space charge region and trigger changes in the magnitude of interface recombination present in our devices. In doing so, we have observed the creation and removal of a secondary barrier in the conduction band of coevaporated CZTSe cells, and found that completed devices do not exhibit the changes in device properties that would be expected for devices dominated by interface recombination.
