摘要
In this paper, we propose a car-following model with consideration of the reliability of inter-vehicle communication (IVC) to study each vehicle's speed, headway, fuel consumption and exhaust emissions under an incident. The numerical results show that considering IVC will reduce each vehicle's velocity, fuel consumption and exhaust emissions during the braking process while enhance each vehicle's speed, fuel consumption and exhaust emissions during the starting process, but the effects will become more prominent with the increase of the reliability of IVC.
