摘要
Under the sponsorship of NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organimtion), laboratory investigation on strength of wind turbine blades against lightning was carried out. Also, a lightning risk map of Japan was proposed based on LLS data and reports of lightning damages of wind turbines. Results of these investigations were summarized into Guidelines for Lightning Protection of Wind Turbines in Japan ( 2008) In which is one of the volumes of Guideline for Wind Power Generation in Japan, published by NEDO.
