Research on Lexical Principle of Compound Words for Objects

Based on large-scale annotated corpuses of Chinese, the intensive study on derivation rules of compound words in Mandarin Chinese has essential significance on promoting the research of word formation. This paper, selects two semantic categories: A (person) class and B (object) class, as the researching subject, explores and analyses the internal structure of the compound words. It focuses on the relationship between morpheme lexicon and word senses, thus analyses the reason for AB or BA composing object words and finds the rules in them.
