摘要
A new cross-wedge rolling method which uses only one flat wedge and two shaped rolls is described in this paper. This new forming method was called wedge-rolls rolling (WRR). Within the confines of the research on WRR a number of simulations and experiments were made. Simulations were made using the finite element software, MSC.SuperForm 2004. In addition, experimental research was made on the prototype rolling mill LUW-2. On the basis of this research, it was shown that the WRR method allows for forming full and hollow forgings.
