The ill-effects of a spectator society

On can see the current political crisis as a rupture between the political and the social body since languages, actions, ways of being and temporalities of the society that "thinks and governs" and the one that "lives ungoverned" do not match anymore. This divergence happens when the technical means of communication allow the spectacle, the merchandize and the politic to gather, complete and interfere. Thus arises a society founded on communion in communication, an advanced form of political spectacle.
