A method of measuring system errors for gear grinding machine

Y7125 grinding machine is widely used to grind high-precision tooth flank of shaper cutter, shaving wheel and master test gear its index plate system divides teeth in every gear grinding process, it easily leads the inner system being wear-out and leads to decrease index accuracy and profile accuracy. So index accuracy is taken as one of main norms to judge accuracy and service life of machine tools. A method of measuring index error and flank form error is proposed in this paper, it provides the basis for detecting, decreasing and compensating system errors of gear grinder.
