摘要：
The author describes a specific view of "semantics" with respect to annotations of Web services that are intended to make them more dynamically useful. The intent is to be clear about the semantics of "semantics" in this context and to discuss objective operational tests for the degree that semantics are used in Web service discovery and composition by using a software engineering perspective. © 2009 IEEE.
