摘要
Flax fibre produced currently in the ,,two-shape" system which yields long and short fibres allows for the production of relatively thick and expensive yarns, which do not meet expectations of buyers of woven fabrics and knittings, nor of users of clothing. The results of research conducted until today show that the method of homomorphic fibre production, offering better utilization of raw material and decreasing production costs, shows promising potential. The aim of this research is determination of the effect of some agronomic factors such as nitrogen doses, plant density, and time of harvesting on the quantity and quality of fibre obtained by the homomorphic fibre production method, including its utilisation for new spinning techniques in blends with other natural and synthetic fibres.
