摘要
This paper presents a reflective capacitive impedance surface combined with a radio frequency loop coil to improve the radio frequency magnetic field for 1.5 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging applications. The proposed structure is based on a miniaturized surface unit cell using an interdigital capacitance approach. Full field simulations employing an interdigital frequency selective surface shows a maximum improvement in magnetic field inside a homogeneous dielectric phantom of 170% as compared to a loop coil alone.
