摘要：

Works describing methods for calculating the settling velocity of a bimodal mixture of solid particles are analyzed. A method for calculating the settling velocity of a bimodal mixture of spherical particles is proposed that takes into account the contact interaction between particles of different sizes due to their collisions. The calculation results are in satisfactory agreement with experimental data on settling of a bimodal mixture of spherical solid particles.
