An electric-based dual-mode tomography system for interpretation on two-phase flow in oil wells

摘要
The difficulty for most existing electric/magnetic tomography approaches is the ill-posed characteristic of the inverse problem. Multimode measurement aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of imaging by fusion of different data forms. We have established an electric-based dual-mode tomography system especially including an innovative image reconstruction algorithm with objectivity. The quality of the reconstructed images is assessed through the comparative study of various algorithms for four typical two-phase flow distributions in oil wells. The most precise result of the newly proposed algorithm indicates the development potential of electricbased dual-mode tomography for well-logging interpretation.
